MSG is an accumulative excitotoxin that crosses the blood-brain barrier.

MSG, monosodium glutamate, detoxification, carcinogenic, toxic, psoriasis

MSG or monosodium glutamate is commonly known to be used in all Chinese foods. What most of us don't know is that it is used in more prepackaged and prepared foods than not. A person is hard pressed to go a day without consuming it. Even if you are a savvy shopper like myself, monosodium glutamate is so well hidden in our products that trying to totally eliminate it would be exhausting, believe me, I've tried.

Monosodium glutamateis is a toxin that can be found in all synthetic chemicals including autolyzed yeast, Brewers Yeast, nutritional yeast, and carrageenan. Detoxification from monosodium glutamate will cause a lot of health issues to diminish, including psoriasis. It is an exitotoxin that crosses the blood-brain barrier and can cause neurons in the brain to become over stimulated and die. Even worse, its toxicity is cumulative, so even if you do not react to it immediately or notice anything after its consumption, it is still causing problems.

The following is a very short list of ingredients that always contain monosodium glutamate (the list of ingredients that might contain monosodium glutamate is endless):

  • Glutamic acid
  • Gelatin
  • Calcium caseinate
  • Textured protein
  • Glutamate

  • Hydrolyzed protein (any protein that is hydrolyzed)

The FDA has admitted that MSG or processed free glutamic acid found in reaction flavors, which are produced from a combination of specific amino acids, reducing sugars, and animal or vegetable fats or oils, and optional ingredients including hydrolyzed vegetable protein, is carcinogenic (Lin, L.J.
